Korean to English Subtitle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for KO in/to EN Transcription Editors, Subtitle Specialists and Translators for a tech conference project.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit machine-generated transcripts from Korean to English, correcting errors and aligning sentences
• Create subtitles based on finalized transcripts, ensuring accurate time-coding and readability
• Translate subtitles between Korean and English, adhering to the 4-eyes principle for quality assurance

Required Qualifications

• Native speakers of Korean and/or English (US)
• Experience with transcription editing, subtitle creation, or TEP workflows
• Ability to work quickly and meet tight deadlines
• Familiarity with subtitle formats and tools (e.g., SRT, VTT, Subtitle Edit) is a plus
