Job Summary

Providing effective telephonic interpretation services, the remote Independent Contractor Telephonic Interpreter for Krio will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community across various sectors, including medical and legal.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting and superior customer service
• Answer inbound calls promptly while adhering to professional interpretation protocols
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Krio
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training preferred
• Technology proficient with web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• Access to a quiet and secure interpreting space with landline phone access
