Kubernetes DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Kubernetes/DevOps Engineer to join their team and support application containerization and infrastructure design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the consultation and design of infrastructure for future workstream efforts
- Support software development on the Kubernetes/OpenShift platform and redesign clusters for mission-critical applications
- Improve and troubleshoot existing container orchestration environments and evaluate potential improvements for customer environments
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen and have lived in the United States for at least the past 3 out of 5 years
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 3 months of hire
- Active Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or Docker Certified Associate (DCA)
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm
