Kubernetes DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a US Air Force program, the remote DevSecOps (Kubernetes) Engineer SME will build and manage DevSecOps platforms, create and update Kubernetes clusters using Terraform, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain DevSecOps platforms for mission application owners
• Create and update Kubernetes clusters using Terraform and deploy applications with Helm charts
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to implement best practices for system hardening and compliance

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker
• Familiarity with Helm and Kubernetes distributions (e.g., RKE2, EKS, OpenShift, VMWare Tanzu)
• Background working with defense customers is highly preferable
