Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to work remotely and support the US Space Force's Space Systems Command.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure and configure containerized services orchestrated with Kubernetes
• Lead the lifecycle management of containerized services and troubleshoot issues
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters across various environments

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, STEM, or IT with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 6+ years
• US Citizen with a current Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a Kubernetes Engineer, including two years of SRE experience
• Possession of one of the following certifications: CKA, CKAD, or KCNA
• Advanced experience with AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or Google GKE is preferred
