Kubernetes Engineer with IASAE II Certification

Job Summary

To support the management and orchestration of containerized applications, the remote Kubernetes Engineer with IASAE II Certification will design and implement Kubernetes deployments, automate processes for operational efficiency, and monitor cluster health while collaborating with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based microservices architecture in AWS EKS
• Automate deployment processes and scaling of applications to enhance operational efficiency
• Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the availability and performance of Kubernetes environments

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution
• IASAE II certification (CASP+CE, CLSSP associate) or CSSLP, or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins and ingress controllers
• Experience with tools such as Helm and Kustomize for managing applications in Kubernetes
