Kubernetes Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Kubernetes Penetration Tester, the full-time remote Senior Security Consultant will execute penetration tests, create detailed reports, and develop innovative methodologies to enhance security for clients in cloud-hosted and self-managed environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Kubernetes penetration tests and create attack narratives and findings-based reports for clients
• Research and develop innovative techniques and tools for penetration testing services, collaborating with clients on remediation strategies
• Act as a resource for internal team members regarding technical questions and contribute to the information security community through tool development and publications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, math, IT, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience performing offensive penetration tests against Kubernetes and cloud environments or web applications
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and recognized penetration testing qualifications (e.g., GXPN, OSEP, OSCP, OSWE)
• Kubernetes-related certification such as CKA or CKS
• Demonstrable knowledge of exploiting workload misconfigurations and security best practices for containers
