Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kubernetes Platform Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement platform services in Kubernetes while collaborating with other engineering teams
• Debug and troubleshoot critical technical issues, mentoring team members as needed
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes within a distributed team environment

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; Secret level security clearance is highly desired
• 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD/JD; or 13 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma
• Professional experience with Go programming and a strong understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and proficiency in scripting
