Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development and maintenance of application hosting infrastructure on Kubernetes in GCP, the full-time Platform Engineer - Kubernetes will design scalable solutions, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance with security regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions and automate processes using infrastructure as code practices
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to enhance the software development lifecycle and ensure timely application delivery
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain security compliance and optimize cloud resource spending

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Crossplane
• 5+ years of experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd
