Kubernetes Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology organization, the contract-to-hire Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Tech Lead will build, maintain, and support Kubernetes environments across on-premises and AWS infrastructure while ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and performance in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and support Kubernetes (K8s) clusters in on-premises and AWS environments
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based infrastructure while resolving cluster and networking issues
- Provide platform architecture, design, and technical leadership for Kubernetes environments at scale
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Kubernetes administration, platform engineering, or infrastructure operations
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
- Strong Linux systems administration experience
- Experience supporting AWS cloud environments
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience with Ruby-based applications
