Kubernetes Platform Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Kubernetes Platform Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and implement Kubernetes-based orchestration and container management platforms
• Diagnose and resolve complex Kubernetes issues, while improving observability and monitoring tools
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams to optimize platform usage and propose enhancements

Required Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
• Experience in technical roles such as leader, architect, or engineer
• Proficiency in installing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting Kubernetes clusters in various infrastructures
• Familiarity with Kubernetes distribution platforms like Rancher RKE2, OpenShift, or others
