Kubernetes Principal Engineer

Job Summary

To support a hybrid, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform, the full-time salaried Kubernetes Principal Engineer will engineer and evolve the platform, assist development teams, and drive innovation in AI projects, while working in a flexible hybrid environment based in Lakeland, FL.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain a hybrid, multi-cloud Kubernetes platform for retail and enterprise operations
• Support development teams in deploying and operating applications on the Kubernetes platform
• Monitor platform health and perform regular maintenance and upgrades

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes in a large-scale multi-tenant cluster environment
• 2+ years of Cloud Native development experience
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with .NET and/or GO as primary programming languages
