Kubernetes Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To lead the rearchitecting efforts of existing monolithic systems to an Azure cloud-native architecture, the full-time Senior Kubernetes Subject Matter Expert will design, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Kubernetes while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a 100% remote role.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure applications using Kubernetes (AKS) within Azure
• Implement and manage load balancing algorithms to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and replicate environments efficiently

Required qualifications:

• Strong Kubernetes (K8S) development experience within large organizations required
• Kubernetes on Azure cloud environment (AKS) is highly preferred
• 7+ years of experience in rearchitecting large-scale monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures
• Experience with load balancing algorithms and Terraform is a must
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
