Job Summary
To support a large enterprise cluster environment, the remote W2 Contract to Hire Kubernetes Subject Matter Expert will provide high-impact technical guidance, implement advanced resource management systems, and optimize automation initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex Kubernetes architectural and scaling challenges
- Accelerate deployment and fine-tuning of intelligent resource automation platforms across the cluster fleet
- Audit existing cluster architectures and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Kubernetes-focused experience
- 6-9 years of Platform Engineering experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, and security
- Deep proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu)
- Strong grasp of container-level FinOps and cloud cost-avoidance methodologies
