L2 Data Center Technician

Job Summary

Working onsite in Sparks, NV, the contract L2 Data Center Technician will perform rack and stack of servers, manage cabling, and troubleshoot server issues while ensuring proper hardware installation and maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform rack and stack of servers, network devices, and storage equipment
• Handle cabling, including labeling and cable management, and support hardware installation and relocation
• Troubleshoot server issues and assist network administrators with server-related tasks

Required qualifications:

• Experience with server rack and stack procedures
• Proficiency in cabling (fiber and copper) and cable management
• Knowledge of server troubleshooting and hardware maintenance
• Familiarity with IP address configuration and firmware updates
• Ability to work collaboratively with network administrators
