L3 Database Architect
Job Summary
Providing L3 technical support and architecture for enterprise SAP database and application environments, the contract L3 Database Architect will work remotely for a duration of 6 months, focusing on database backup, recovery, high availability, and security management.
Key responsibilities
- Design and support database backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
- Review and remediate database-related CVEs and security vulnerabilities while managing SQL Server security and compliance activities
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, and security teams on architecture and operational initiatives
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in database administration, technology architecture, or application infrastructure
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
- Experience with SQL Server Always On, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Relevant SAP, database, Azure, or security certifications are a plus
