Lab Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Laboratory Billing & Coding Representative with lab billing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve lab-related CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 inquiries for internal and external parties
• Edit laboratory test charges to ensure appropriate coding and modifiers are applied
• Research and resolve assigned billing reports and work queues daily for registration errors and claim edits

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Knowledge of patient registration, billing processes, and medical terminology
• Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform computer data entry
• Basic/Intermediate Level experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Experience working collaboratively with others
