Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist in Lab Denials and Coding Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned work queues and resolve outstanding denials in a timely manner
• Identify denial trends and provide education to prevent future denials
• Compile responses to reimbursement inquiries and maintain an accurate accounts receivable process

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School graduate
• Four years of experience in Medical Billing and Coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes
• Understanding of insurance explanation of benefits and remittance codes
