Lab Dispatcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lab Dispatcher to manage case dispatching and ensure efficient operations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and control the dispatching and processing of laboratory cases according to policies and procedures
• Prepare daily work assignments for Phlebotomists and maintain communication for tracking and re-routing as necessary
• Assist in handling high volumes of phone calls and provide excellent customer service while documenting any issues that arise

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred dispatch experience, with some knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in handling high volumes of telephone assistance and operating communication devices
• Knowledge of logistics and ability to navigate various locations in the Southern California Region
