Lab Informaticist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lab Informaticist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Laboratory (Beaker) workflows and related system configurations
• Translate laboratory operational requirements into functional Epic build specifications
• Partner with pathologists, lab managers, and clinical leadership to optimize workflows across inpatient and outpatient settings

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of laboratory informatics, LIS, or Epic Laboratory (Beaker) experience
• Direct experience supporting laboratory workflows in an acute care hospital environment
• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory operations including specimen collection, processing, testing, and result reporting
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into system build and configuration
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards impacting laboratory operations
