Labor and Employment Assistant Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Counsel - Labor & Employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and counsel regarding employment and labor law obligations
• Act as a strategic business partner to stakeholders, including Management and Human Resources
• Draft and review various complex employment documents and assist in the development of internal policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Jurisprudence and admitted to practice in state bar of residence or other relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of nine years of experience providing employment law advice and counsel
• Experience advising life and disability insurance companies preferred
• Experience advising on executive compensation matters preferred
• Demonstrated history of working closely with internal business partners to identify and prioritize business needs and assess risk
