Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Labor and Employment Law.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and employment law counsel on various aspects of the employment relationship
• Maintain template infrastructure for agreements and draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal instruments
• Assist in developing and managing compliance and risk management strategies, including training for managers and HR staff

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school required
• Current license in good standing to practice law in the United States
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience practicing law, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Demonstrated expertise in US labor and employment law and experience with employment-related agreements
• Experience with international labor and employment law is a plus
