Labor and Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Offering a fully-remote hourly position, the Labor and Employment Counsel will manage employment litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and handling EEOC charges, while working with a top-ranked Labor & Employment practice group.

Key responsibilities

• Draft responsive pleadings and motions, including motions for summary judgment
• Handle all aspects of the discovery process and manage EEOC charges, including investigations and mediations
• Collaborate with experienced lawyers to share ideas and best practices in a collegiate environment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side
• Familiarity with federal and state court practice and relevant administrative agencies
• Active bar license in the state of residence and one where the firm maintains an office
• Strong time management skills and flexibility in work schedule
• Desire to work on exciting matters without the demands of a full-time position
