Labor and Litigation Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A legal company is seeking a Labor and Litigation Senior Counsel.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the company on employment issues and collaborate with the legal team to handle pre-litigation and litigation matters
• Draft, revise, and review employment-related contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the HR department
• Actively monitor employment law changes and Company practices to ensure policies and practices are compliant

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in the US
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in employment law, or in a combination of employment and benefits law, at the law firm, or in-house
• Ability to communicate legal concepts in a digestible manner for business leaders
• Health care experience is ideal
