Job Summary

A legal company is seeking a Labor and Litigation Senior Counsel.

Position Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to the company on employment issues and collaborate with the legal team to handle pre-litigation and litigation matters
Draft, revise, and review employment-related contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the HR department
Actively monitor employment law changes and Company practices to ensure policies and practices are compliant

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Bar admission in the US
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in employment law, or in a combination of employment and benefits law, at the law firm, or in-house
Ability to communicate legal concepts in a digestible manner for business leaders
Health care experience is ideal
