Job Summary
Serving as a critical subject matter expert, the full-time Manager, Union Partnerships will lead labor-related activities, including collective bargaining and grievance resolutions, while collaborating onsite in a hybrid capacity from the greater Boulder, CO or Los Angeles, CA areas.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor labor law developments to ensure compliance and equity in organizational practices
- Lead collective bargaining sessions and negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
- Act as an internal advisor on labor laws and policies, providing guidance to leadership and managers
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with unions, including collective bargaining and contract administration
- Understanding of employment compliance and the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non-experts
- Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP) or equivalent certification preferred
