Job Summary
As a key enterprise leader, the full-time Assistant Vice President of Labor Strategy will define and govern labor strategy across a complex healthcare system, focusing on collective bargaining leadership, labor policy compliance, and risk management while providing executive advisory services in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and steward enterprise-wide labor strategy aligned with organizational goals and governance structures
- Lead and oversee collective bargaining strategy and execution across multiple unions and bargaining units
- Establish and maintain labor relations policies to ensure compliance and manage grievances and regulatory inquiries
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in labor relations and labor strategy
- Demonstrated experience leading collective bargaining across multiple unions
- Advanced knowledge of labor laws and labor relations practices, particularly in a unionized healthcare environment
