Job Summary
Collaborating with sales leaders and customers, the full-time Laboratory Furniture Designer will create innovative laboratory spaces for new construction and renovation projects, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit in a hybrid work environment based in Dallas, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop laboratory spaces, creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for fabrication and installation
- Manage project execution by developing accurate bills of materials and coordinating design revisions based on feedback
- Provide technical design support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs meet quality standards and customer expectations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of drafting or design experience with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience managing multiple projects and interpreting construction documents
- Knowledge of SEFA standards and laboratory furniture systems preferred
- Experience with 2020, SAP, C4C, or Bluebeam is a plus
