Job Summary
To support laboratory operations in Denver, Colorado, the full-time Laboratory IT Support Specialist will provide on-site IT support, including LIMS software assistance, hardware troubleshooting, and user training while also managing remote support for additional laboratories across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and various software applications
- Provide end user support and training for LIMS, ensuring effective communication with laboratory staff to resolve issues promptly
- Accurately document service requests and maintain relevant support documentation for user self-sufficiency
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of IT support experience with direct user contact or equivalent education/training
- Experience or education in BioMedical IT is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a geographically dispersed team
- Customer service-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- BA/BS in Information Technology/Systems or 2 years of IT experience
