Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Independent Sales Representative, the fully remote contract position focuses on developing new business opportunities and maintaining customer relationships throughout the North Carolina territory, with a commission-based compensation structure.
Key responsibilities
- Pursue new sales opportunities through relationship building, networking, and in-person sales calls
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers while providing exceptional customer support
- Generate and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities, identifying customer needs for laboratory supply solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Biology, Chemistry, or Supply Chain Management
- Prior outside sales experience, particularly in laboratory, scientific, industrial, or technical sales
- Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
