Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist I to perform laboratory tasks related to nucleic acid workflows in North Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard operating procedures for lab operations and safety
• Perform nucleic acid extraction and quality control with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project progress effectively

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Genetics/Genomics or related field with 4+ years of experience, or MS degree with 2+ years of experience
• Experience with nucleic acid workflows from various source materials
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting nucleic acid quality control data
• Experience with laboratory management systems for sample processing
• Proficiency in micropipetting and wet lab automation techniques
