Laboratory Systems Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting the implementation and validation of laboratory informatics systems, the full-time Laboratory Systems Consultant will write and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) protocols and validation test scripts while collaborating with laboratory stakeholders and IT teams in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Author and execute UAT protocols, validation test scripts, and document results in compliance with GxP requirements
• Gather and document business and laboratory requirements while maintaining traceability between system requirements and validation deliverables

Required qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience supporting laboratory informatics systems and validation activities
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is preferred
• Experience writing and executing UAT and validation test scripts in a regulated environment
