Job Summary

A company is looking for a Laboratory Technical Specialist - Stem Cell Transplant.

Key Responsibilities

Follows standard protocol for patient/donor identification and specimen/blood product labeling
Prepares and distributes specimens to departments according to requirements and priorities
Ensures quality assurance by performing quality control procedures and participating in quality improvement projects

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science from an accredited college/university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accredited laboratory under a certified pathologist
ASCP Certification or equivalent certification consistent with the scope of responsibility
Preferred experience in Strong Blood Banking
