Job Summary

To provide specialized technical assistance, the remote contracted Labour Mobility Consultant will focus on designing and implementing labor mobility pathways, engaging stakeholders, and developing innovative financing models in alignment with TVET systems.

Key responsibilities
  • Design and develop labor mobility concepts, identifying viable pathways and target sectors aligned with TVET systems
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement and coalition building with governments, private sector actors, and international organizations
  • Produce technical deliverables, including labor mobility intelligence briefs and strategic program inputs
Required qualifications
  • Advanced degree in migration studies, international relations, economics, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in labor mobility, migration and development, or workforce development programming
  • Expertise in designing and implementing labor mobility pathways and transnational skills partnerships
  • Experience in developing innovative financing mechanisms for labor mobility, including results-based finance models
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership development skills with experience in working with governments and private sector actors
