Job Summary
Driving new revenue for Lakebase, the full-time Lakebase Sales Specialist will identify and activate opportunities within a defined territory, partnering closely with regional Account Executives to promote a fully-managed Postgres solution for operational workloads and AI-native applications.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and drive Lakebase activations and consumption in collaboration with account teams
- Lead sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close, engaging multiple stakeholders
- Orchestrate proof-of-value initiatives to showcase Lakebase's benefits for operational workloads
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas
- Proven success in selling data platforms or operational databases to technical and business leaders
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including cloud-native services and AI strategies
- Experience leading collaborative sales efforts with core Account Executives
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
