Language and Literacy Content Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Language and Literacy Content Specialist, the full-time remote position will write, edit, and refine research-based educational content for CORE's language and literacy products and professional development programs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices and educator needs.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit high-quality content for professional development programs in language and literacy
• Research evidence-based practices and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance
• Support the content development lifecycle, meeting project deadlines and aligning with the product roadmap

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Literacy, Linguistics, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• 2+ years of professional content development experience in an educational organization or related field
• At least 3 years of successful ELA teaching or coaching experience
• Deep expertise in the Science of Reading and structured literacy
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity and accessibility
