Language Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Language Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve workflows for AI/ML training and evaluation data, including human annotation and synthetic data collection
• Analyze existing workflows to gather insights and drive improvements through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Quantitatively analyze large datasets and perform statistical analysis to enhance accuracy and performance

Required Qualifications

• MA in (computational) linguistics, data science, computer science (AI/ML/NLU), or a related field; PhD preferred
• Extensive experience with human language data and designing complex human evaluation tasks
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and data analysis methods
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools and proficiency in Python for data handling
• Deep understanding of data pipelines and data engineering principles
