Latvian Interpreter

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Latvian Interpreter will handle video and audio interpreting sessions between Latvian and English speakers across various industries, ensuring accurate communication and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to video and audio interpreting sessions while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Deliver interpretation services and accurately convey concepts according to established protocols
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance interpreting skills and knowledge of industry-specific terminology

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Latvian and English, with an understanding of cultural dynamics
• Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching, translation, or interpretation preferred
• Excellent listening and retention skills to ensure high accuracy during interpretation
• Ability to remain neutral and objective during sensitive conversations
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
