Launch Support Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Launch and Orbit Support Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Launch and Early Operations (LEOP) products during orbital launches
• Support manual Orbit Determination tasks and monitor orbit quality using internal tools and Python scripts
• Triage customer inquiries related to orbit data and contribute to the development of internal tools and workflows

Required Qualifications

• Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge participation (within 180 days of separation)
• B.S. in Astrodynamics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of orbital mechanics and space operations
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, Julia, or other scientific scripting tools
• Preferred: experience with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, SQL, Git, Docker, or Orbit Determination tools
