Job Summary

Supporting conservation efforts for imperiled species and public lands, the full-time hourly Law Clerk will conduct legal research and writing, assist with litigation and policy advocacy, and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a remote setting for a temporary ten-week position starting in May 2027.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and writing, including preparing legal memoranda and assisting with brief writing
  • Review administrative regulations and policy proposals related to endangered species and environmental protection
  • Collaborate with diverse coalitions and partners to advance program campaigns
Required qualifications
  • Completed at least one year of law school at the time of application
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats in the Southwest
  • Background or experience in natural resources, environmental, and/or administrative law preferred
  • Commitment to equity and justice
