Job Summary
Supporting conservation efforts for imperiled species and public lands, the full-time hourly Law Clerk will conduct legal research and writing, assist with litigation and policy advocacy, and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a remote setting for a temporary ten-week position starting in May 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and writing, including preparing legal memoranda and assisting with brief writing
- Review administrative regulations and policy proposals related to endangered species and environmental protection
- Collaborate with diverse coalitions and partners to advance program campaigns
Required qualifications
- Completed at least one year of law school at the time of application
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats in the Southwest
- Background or experience in natural resources, environmental, and/or administrative law preferred
- Commitment to equity and justice
