Law Clerk - Florida

Job Summary

Seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Law Clerk - Florida for Fall 2026, this full-time hourly position will assist program attorneys in litigation, administrative advocacy, and policy development related to environmental law, primarily working remotely with opportunities for in-person collaboration in Florida or the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Research and draft legal filings, petitions, and formal comments on agency proposals
• Assist in interviewing experts and investigating new matters relevant to environmental issues
• Collaborate with coalitions and partners, and advocate before various agencies as opportunities arise

Required qualifications

• Must be a student entering 2L, 3L, or LLM courses in Fall 2026
• Strong research and writing skills are essential
• Comfort with independent and self-motivated work is required
• Familiarity with environmental and administrative law is preferred
• Background in environmental or biological studies or related experience is preferred
