Job Summary
To provide valuable insights into law enforcement practices, the part-time contract Law Enforcement Advisor will review product features, offer feedback on agency operations, and collaborate with the founder while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review features and workflows in development, providing candid feedback on their applicability in the field
- Serve as a sounding board for law enforcement practices and terminology, ensuring accuracy and credibility
- Meet with the founder regularly to discuss insights and feedback, contributing to the product's development
Required qualifications
- Current or former sworn law enforcement experience in roles such as officer, deputy, or command staff
- Current or former civilian law enforcement experience, including roles like records officer or victim services
- Hands-on familiarity with day-to-day agency operations, including scheduling and administrative workflows
- Willingness to provide direct and honest feedback on product concepts
- Comfortable reviewing software concepts and mockups, without needing a technical background
