Job Summary

Supporting oncology patients, the remote contract-to-hire Lay Navigator will coordinate appointments, manage referrals, and ensure timely access to care while serving as a key point of contact for patients and providers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for oncology appointments, procedures, and related services
• Manage referral workflows and ensure required documentation is complete
• Provide compassionate support to patients throughout the care process

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of healthcare customer service experience preferred
• Experience with patient scheduling, referrals, or care coordination
• Oncology or specialty healthcare experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic or a similar electronic health record system preferred
