Layout Engineer

Job Summary

To support large-scale manufacturing projects, the contract Layout Engineer will design factory layouts, optimize material flow, and manage site planning while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute 2D/3D factory layouts and block layouts
• Optimize material flow for inbound, WIP, and outbound logistics
• Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and site master planning

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in factory layout or industrial engineering
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments such as automotive or energy
• Proven track record in site planning and factory ramp-up execution
• Familiarity with design tools like Inventor, AutoCAD, or Revit
• Knowledge of capacity planning metrics including OEE and takt time
