Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Account Reimbursement Specialist (Hospital Billing) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid patient and insurance balances
• Acts as a liaison with insurance companies and administrative personnel while analyzing financial data to resolve reimbursement issues
• Prepares and maintains complex reports and performs account audits and other complex projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Intermediate knowledge of coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS) and revenue cycle processes
• Ability to lead and mentor peers
• Experience in data entry and financial analysis
