Job Summary

Lead Account Reimbursement Specialist, a full-time position responsible for coordinating the billing and follow-up process with payers and patients, analyzing insurance denial trends, and mentoring peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processes claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid patient and insurance balances
  • Serves as a liaison with insurance companies and administrative personnel while analyzing financial data to resolve reimbursement issues
  • Prepares and maintains complex reports and performs account audits and other complex projects
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of coding systems such as ICD-10-CM/PCS
  • Intermediate understanding of revenue cycle processes
  • Ability to perform data entry efficiently and accurately
