Managing the billing and follow-up process for self-pay accounts, the full-time remote Lead Account Reimbursement Specialist will analyze insurance denials, serve as a resource for peers, and ensure accurate financial data management.
Key responsibilities
- Processes claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid balances
- Acts as a liaison with insurance companies and administrative personnel
- Analyzes financial data to identify and resolve reimbursement issues
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of coding systems, including ICD-10-CM/PCS
- Understanding of revenue cycle processes
- Experience in performing account audits and complex reporting
