Lead Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to support accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create general ledger accounting entries for revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to support business results and financial accuracy
• Conduct timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare internal financial reports

Required Qualifications/Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• High level of integrity and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
