Lead Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to oversee month-end close activities and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close process ensuring timely completion of journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
• Identify improvement initiatives and drive execution of enhancement proposals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support month-end close and quarterly reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills
• Experience with Oracle, SmartView, and Power Query preferred
