Lead Accountant

Job Summary

Overseeing accounting operations for various assigned companies, the full-time remote Lead Accountant will manage general ledger entries, month-end close processes, and financial statement reviews while collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes for assigned companies
• Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and financial operations and implement necessary changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting required
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Public accounting/auditing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Workday GL/ERP systems is a plus
