Lead Accountant

Job Summary

Experienced in multi-entity accounting, the full-time Lead Accountant will manage the monthly and quarterly close processes, oversee revenue accounting under ASC 606, and lead billing and collections efforts, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly and quarterly close calendar, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting
• Execute revenue accounting in compliance with ASC 606, including managing deferred revenue and contract reconciliations
• Supervise and develop the accounting team, ensuring effective workflow and documentation of procedures

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing a monthly close in a multi-entity environment
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 in a subscription software or SaaS business
• Direct experience with NetSuite, preferably involving migration or implementation
• Strong background in accounts receivable and collections management
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with five or more years of progressive accounting experience
